This qualification reflects the role of entry level community services workers who support individuals through the provision of person-centred services. Work may include day-to-day support of individuals in community settings or support the implementation of specific community-based programs.
COURSE DURATION/ METHOD OF DELIVERY
This course is delivered over 6 – 12 months. In order to provide flexible options, students can choose one of the following delivery options:
- Classroom environment: Suitable for unemployed students. Content is delivered with weekly classroom sessions at our delivery locations.
- Flexible delivery: Self-paced learning with one-on-one contact with one of our qualified trainers.
Whilst there is no mandatory work placement for this course it is strongly recommended that participants are exposed to community services environments.
