HLTAID011
The HLTAID011 Provide First Aid course gives you the practical tools to respond to a wide range of first aid situations. Through this course, you will develop the ability to:
Respond to Emergencies: Learn how to assess an incident, recognise hazards, seek assistance, and provide an appropriate first aid response.
Manage Common Injuries and Illnesses: Learn how to respond to bleeding, choking, fractures, sprains, strains, burns, asthma, anaphylaxis, shock, seizures, stroke, diabetes, poisoning, eye injuries, and other common first aid situations.
Support Casualty Safety: Understand how to manage unconscious casualties, maintain airway safety, reduce risks, and apply infection control procedures.
Communicate and Report Clearly: Build confidence to contact emergency services, communicate incident details, complete verbal and written reports, and review the incident after first aid has been provided.
