Manual Handling (Non-Accredited)
Welcome to the Manual Handling short course, a comprehensive module designed to equip you with the foundational knowledge and practical strategies required to perform physical tasks safely in any workplace. Whether you work in aged care, hospitality, warehousing, or cleaning, manual handling is a core part of your daily duties. Performing these tasks correctly is not just a workplace requirement; it is essential to your long-term physical health and the wellbeing of those you support.
Throughout this course, you will learn to identify risks and apply safe techniques for lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and transferring loads—including people. Incorrect techniques can lead to serious sprains, strains, and chronic musculoskeletal damage. Our curriculum provides up-to-date guidance aligned with Australian Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation, ensuring you understand the legal responsibilities of both workers and employers while upholding the dignity and safety of everyone involved.
